🌿 The Hidden Weight So Many Women Carry
For most of my life, I carried something heavy, though it wasn’t always visible.
It was the weight of childhood wounds I didn’t know how to name.
The ache of feeling misunderstood.
The invisible pressure to hold everything together for everyone else.
And like many women, I smiled through it. I served through it. I accomplished things, loved my family fiercely, and tried to be strong because that’s what I thought was expected of me. I believed I could rise above the pain by staying positive, pushing through, and doing good in the world.
But deep down, I wasn’t whole.
I had become a master at keeping it all together — but not at healing what was breaking inside of me.
💔 The Moment Everything Shifted
I remember the day it all became too much.
In the quiet of my bedroom, overwhelmed by years of silently carrying emotional burdens, I fell to my knees. I prayed not with polished words or a rehearsed script but from the rawest place inside me.
It was then I felt something sacred.

An invitation from my Savior to finally release the pain I had tucked away for so long.
In my mind’s eye, I saw Him standing beside me, gently taking off the heavy backpack I had carried my whole life, filled with shame, grief, and the weight of being “not enough.”
And in that sacred moment, His words echoed in my soul:
"Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."
At first, I hesitated. That pain had become part of who I was — like armor, I didn’t know I could live without.
But He waited. Lovingly. Patiently.
And when I finally opened my heart… the light came rushing in.
This moment of surrender and divine exchange was the turning point in my healing journey — when I finally understood that I didn’t have to carry it alone.
